The driven new track comes packed with explosive instrumentals and anthemic vocal lines, as Colour Tongues explore themes of insatiable anger. “Fire” looks at what happens when anger is fuelled for too long, and how it can burn you over time. Ultimately, the track looks at the importance of letting go and forgiveness.

StGA -
The second single from the album is “Fire.” Beginning with guitar noodling that sounds straight out of an early American Football album, the track morphs into an arena-sized rock song with lush vocal harmonies and reverb-drenched guitars. The band said of the track that it is “about the strain and anger felt in familial bonds that, when left unchecked for years, can come to a boil and threaten to burn those connections down.”
